2008 Coach's Corner

Welcome to the Lincoln Trojan 2008 Baseball Season. The New Era continues its journey into its 7 th year. Once again, another class of student athletes has moved on with bright futures ahead.

The new season also brings new additions to the Lincoln family with another freshman class filled with high goals and promising talent. The excitement has already begun as games get under way. Every day promises new challenges, different opponents and exciting memories that will become engrained in the minds and hearts of the players, coaches and parents. Long after this season ends, these memories will live on.

Our goal is to make progress day-by-day in building better baseball players, and to encourage not only the athletic development of these young men, but their academic excellence too.

Step-by-step as one family we will aim for excellence on the field while remembering that we are only as strong as the weakest link. We strive to peak at the right time, and to reach the pinnacle of high school baseball when we take the trip to Sarasota.

We are blessed to be part of such a great program with outstanding facilities and truly committed fans, volunteers and staff. Many thanks to all who live, sweat and bleed for this program.

Through hard work and determination, the 2008 season will take us one step closer to reaching our goals. Remember to enjoy the process and every step along the way for this will define us as a program.
